Since 1990 Karen Hertz , the founder has been providing legal counsel to clients in construction, retail, financial services, hospitality, technology among many other industries.
Because Work Matters, in issues relating to employment law, emotions are high as people’s livelihoods are at stake. We recognize that and work with our clients to achieve their goals and create a harmonious workplace.
Karen Mizrahi Hertz is a labor and employment attorney with over 30 years of experience in the field. She has represented both labor and employee side as well as Management/ Employer side.
Currently Karen represents Management in labor relations and employment law matters and individuals in employment matters. Practice areas include collective bargaining contract negotiation , employment agreements, separation agreements, severance packages, discipline, non-disclosure agreements, drafting and revising existing workplace policies and procedures, workplace handbooks, workplace misconduct independent investigations. Representing management in arbitration, mediation and is a general human resources legal consultant to her corporate clients.
In addition, a large part of Hertz Legal’s practice is focused on sexual harassment prevention training. Karen Hertz has been conducting trainings for small to mid-size and large businesses in the tri-state area since 2012.
